CUDIS creates AI-powered wearables for people on the move. Their 002 Sporty Series is a smart ring made for sport that moves like you do. For the launch campaign, we created a hero film where the ring becomes the athlete - accelerating through frame in sharp, motion-blurred arcs that borrow the rhythm of tennis and basketball. It's so fast that the camera can barely keep up. Speed, precision and reactivity, are all expressed through the product.
Aside from movement, another key feature to include in the campaign was presenting the interchangeable silicone band colourways. Through bursts of movement that cover the screen with colour, the 14 bands are shown at once. Alongside the vibrant colours of the silicone bands, the smart rings are made of cermanic and glass, showing the unique chip technology on the inside of the ring.
We built an interactive 3D configurator for the CUDIS Sporty ring: a real-time 3D viewer embedded directly on their website, letting users rotate and inspect the ring with their mouse. We developed it full stack - the front-end for switching between all 14 band colours, and the backend that automatically loads a lower-quality model first for speed, then upgrades to a sharper version depending on the user's device. It all runs directly in the browser with no additional app or plug-in required.
